Deposit/Administration Fee

A non-refundable deposit of $120.00 (incl. GST) per person is required to secure their place in the course. This amount is included in the total course fee. Should a participant

request for a cancellation (see ‘Cancellation Policy’) and if a refund is approved, this non-refundable deposit can be used as credit (see ‘Credit’ section) if participant decides to

rebook the course for another date.

For group on-site Forklift Training and Assessment, we will require a non-refundable deposit of $120.00 (incl. GST), before we confirm the training and assessment dates. This

amount will be deducted from the total course fees. Please note: Onsite bookings are at the discretion of JTG and not guaranteed, please enquire within for more info.

Latecomer/s

If a participant is late for the training, they will have to catch up in their own time, either at home or during a break in the class (at the discretion of trainer). If participant/s didn't

study, and failed their test, they may choose to resit the assessment. Please see ‘Resitting Assessment’ section. Latecomers on the assessment day will not be allowed to sit

the exam; this will be treated as non-attendance. Please see ‘Non-attendance’ section.

Insufficient IDs

If a participant has insufficient or no IDs on the day, this will be treated as non-attendance. Please see ‘Non-attendance’ section.

Non-attendance

If a participant or group does not attend the scheduled day of the course they will not be entitled to a refund. Purchase orders/invoices must still be paid in full in the event that a

participant or group did not show up, and decided to cancel the course. If a participant or group would like to reschedule, they will be asked to present a medical certificate or

evidence of extreme personal hardship (medical emergencies, death of a relative, natural disaster). Otherwise, a fee of $300.00 (incl. GST) per person for their rescheduled

assessment will be incurred, a fee of $250.00 (incl. GST) to reschedule any Oral Assessment, and full course fee will apply to reschedule any training, as we are unable to re-

sell that place in the course. Rescheduling based on non-attendance is at the discretion of JTG, and subject to course availability. Please see ‘Reschedule Policy’ section.

At the discretion of our Training Manager, a one-off opportunity to reschedule the course to another date will be provided in lieu of the free assessment resit (should the

participant not pass the first time), if the participant can present a medical certificate or any other proof of extreme personal hardship.

Substitute delegates

Substitute delegates are accepted without charge up to 6 months from the initial course start date. Please see ‘Credit’ section.

A 24-hour cooling-off period will apply to all bookings. All cancellations must be made in writing and sent via email to jorking.training@outlook.com.au. No formal cancellations

the non-refundable deposit of $120.00 (incl. GST).

Early completion of course

If the participant completes their course before the nominated timeframe they will not be entitled to any discounts or refunds.

LLN Pre-Training Test. Oral assessment date will be subject to availability, and will be scheduled to a date and time available, and at the discretion of JTG. Should a participant

be found Not Yet Competent (NYC) in any part of the oral assessment (either Knowledge, Calculations or Performance), a payment of $250.00 (incl. GST) Oral Assessment fee

will apply to schedule another Oral Assessment.

Resitting Assessment

If a participant is found to be Not Yet Competent (NYC) in any part of the assessment (either Knowledge & Calculations or Performance) no additional charge will apply for the

first reassessment. One free resit must be scheduled within 1 month of the initial assessment. All resits must be scheduled via email jorking.training@outlook.com.au and

initiated by the student. JTG will also do its best to accommodate the student for the next available time slot, but this will be subject to course availability.

However, should a student not pass their assessment on the 2nd time, charges will apply for a reassessment at the reassessment rate of $300.00 (incl. GST). Assessment

resits due to failure will be subject to availability, and rescheduled to a time available, and at the discretion of JTG.

Participants undertaking a reassessment within 60 DAYS of the initial assessment are only required to complete those parts of the assessment for which they were unable to

demonstrate competency (Knowledge, Calculations and/or Performance).

Participants undertaking reassessment more than 60 DAYS after the initial assessment date must undertake the entire assessment (Knowledge, Calculations and

Performance).

All reassessments must be undertaken within 6 months. Reassessment requests after 6 calendar months of the initial course date will no longer be approved. Students are

required to rebook (full course fees apply) the Forklift Course to ensure students are brought up to the most recent theory and practical forklift driving practices implemented by

WHS QLD.
